# Mobile Byte Sensei — brand assets

The mark is **The Knot**. Everything in this folder is generated by
`npm run brand-assets` from `brand/knot.ts` (geometry) and `KNOT` in
`brand/directions.ts` (colour). Do not edit these files by hand; change the
source and regenerate. The full guidelines are published at `/brand`.

Colourways: `default` — belt black with the gold rank bar, for light grounds; `reversed` — paper with the gold rank bar, for dark grounds; `mono-black` — one colour, belt black; `mono-white` — one colour, white.
Use `knot-small*` at 24px and below.

### `png/symbol/` — transparent symbol, 16–1024px (24px and below use the small-size cut)

## Rules

- Clear space on every side: the knot's width (k = 21/64 of the symbol).
- Minimum size: symbol 16px (small-size cut), lockup 120px wide on screen, 30mm in print.
- Do not stretch, recolour, rotate, add effects, or place on low-contrast grounds.
- Typeface: Instrument Sans (SIL Open Font License).
