This policy identifies each cookie that mobilebytesensei.com is capable of setting, its purpose and its duration. It supplements the Cookies section of our Privacy policy, which governs the processing of personal data and prevails to the extent of any inconsistency.
This policy applies to this website only. Each of our mobile, web and desktop products is subject to its own privacy policy, published in its store listing or on its product page. Clause 8 applies to advertising within those products.
Categories of cookies used
No cookie is set by this website unless consent to analytics has been given. Where consent is declined or not given, no cookie is written and no request is made to Google, PostHog or Microsoft.
This website operates no authentication, transaction or personalisation function requiring a cookie, and accordingly sets no strictly necessary cookies.

Definitions
A cookie is a file placed on a device by a website and returned to it on subsequent requests, enabling the website to recognise that two requests originate from the same browser. Cookies set by this website contain a randomly generated identifier and contain no name, email address or other identifying information.
Local storage and analytics scripts are treated as cookies for the purposes of this policy, the applicable test being access to information stored on the device rather than the storage mechanism. Local storage is used on this website solely to record the consent choice.
Consent
On a first visit, a notice identifying Google Analytics, PostHog and Microsoft Clarity is presented. The scripts of those providers are loaded only after consent is given and are not included in the initial page load.
Consent may be declined by a control of equal prominence to that by which it may be given. Dismissal of the notice without a selection is treated as a refusal of consent.
A single consent applies to all three providers, and withdrawal applies to all three. The consent choice is recorded in the browser's local storage and not in a cookie. Clearing browser data resets the choice, whereupon the notice is presented again.

Each provider below processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and is configured as stated.

Withdrawal of consent and browser controls
Consent may be withdrawn at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Withdrawal is effected by the same means as consent, takes effect immediately and applies to all three providers.
On withdrawal, the cookies specified in clause 5 that were set on this website are deleted. Cookies set by Microsoft on its own domains, being CLID and MUID, cannot be deleted by this website; they cease to be refreshed by it and may be removed through browser settings.
Cookies may in addition be blocked or deleted, and third-party cookies refused, through the privacy settings of any browser. No function of this website is dependent on a cookie.
Advertising within our applications
This policy does not apply to our applications. Certain applications are supplied free of charge and supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob, which uses device identifiers and may personalise advertising according to the permissions granted on the device.
Advertising within an application is governed by that application's privacy policy, by the store's data safety disclosures and by the user's device settings, being Ads settings and the advertising identifier on Android and App Tracking Transparency on iOS. No advertising is served on this website.
Our authorised digital sellers are published at /ads.txt and /app-ads.txt in the format specified by the IAB Tech Lab, enabling a buyer to verify that inventory offered in our name is authorised.
Rights
The rights of access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, nomination and grievance redress, and the procedure for exercising them, are set out in our Privacy policy. Requests are to be sent to privacy@mobilebytesensei.com and are answered within thirty days. No fee is charged.
Amendment
This policy is amended whenever a provider is added, removed or reconfigured, in the same change as the corresponding amendment to the website. Where an amendment requires fresh consent, that consent is obtained before any cookie is set in reliance on it. The date at the head of this page states when it was last amended.
